Did you know that in the New Testament we are commanded more than 50 times to Love? I don’t know about you, but I don’t like being told what to do. Especially if it’s about something as personal and challenging as love.
In John 13:34 it says, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.”
Love as Christ loves us? I can’t reach or achieve this kind of love. It’s unattainable.
So why does God ask me to do the Impossible? Because the unattainable can be experienced in Christ.
(Matthew 19:26 Jesus looked at them and said, “With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.”)
