lived in close relationship with God and knew God as his friend. He had God’s promises in his heart, God’s presence in his life, and God’s power in his spirit. Because of all of this, he was fearless. What was true for Daniel can be true for us. We have Jesus, the Holy Spirit, and God’s promises with us. There are more than 7,000 promises in God’s word that we can trust in for our daily lives.

God keeps every promise he makes. He is like a shield for all who seek his protection.
Along with all the blessings we have in the Trinity, you also have God’s family around you. When you feel like you’re standing alone, the prayer and support of a church family is vital.
James 5:16
Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.
How has God’s family been a support to you when you were in a difficult situation? It’s a lot easier to stand when you have your church family around you when you need people to help carry the heavy loads that life keeps putting on your shoulders.
No one may be asking you to compromise your values right now, but a day will come when you must stand up for what you believe. You can start living out these truths today, so you’ll be ready when times get tough, to fearlessly trust God during chaotic times.
