In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one;
The enemy’s focus is to create doubt about God. In all circumstances-
To quench all the fiery darts
1 John 5:4
for everyone born of God overcomes the world. This is the victory that has overcome the world, even our faith.
Genesis 3:1-5
Now the serpent was more crafty than any of the wild animals the Lord God had made. He said to the woman, “Did God really say, ‘You must not eat from any tree in the garden’?” 2 The woman said to the serpent, “We may eat fruit from the trees in the garden, 3 but God did say, ‘You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden, and you must not touch it, or you will die.’” 4 “You will not certainly die,” the serpent said to the woman. 5 “For God knows that when you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”
How does the shield of faith protect us?
Satan’s arrows are doubt, denial and deception.
Psalm 36:7
How priceless is your unfailing love, O God! People take refuge in the shadow of your wings.
Matthew 4:1-4
Then Jesus was led by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. 2 After fasting forty days and forty nights, he was hungry. 3 The tempter came to him and said, “If you are the Son of God, tell these stones to become bread.” 4 Jesus answered, “It is written: ‘Man shall not live on bread alone, but on every word that comes from the mouth of God.’
Jesus uses the shield of faith to put out all the fiery attacks of the enemy.
Jesus knew the word of God.
Hebrews 11:1
Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.
Eat healthy and exercise your faith.
