1 Corinthians 13:12
Good To Go (Series On End Times)
Will we be omniscient, all knowing?
1 Corinthians 13:12
For now we see only a reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.
(To know -vs- To know correctly and extensively) We will know without error in our knowledge.
2 Corinthians 4:18
So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.
When we are resurrected, our vision and knowledge will be corrected. With Satan gone, truth will no longer be out of focus.
2 Corinthians 4:4
The god of this age has blinded the minds of unbelievers, so that they cannot see the light of the gospel that displays the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.
John 8:43-44
Why is my language not clear to you? Because you are unable to hear what I say. 44 You belong to your father, the devil, and you want to carry out your father’s desires. He was a murderer from the beginning, not holding to the truth, for there is no truth in him. When he lies, he speaks his native language, for he is a liar and the father of lies.
We won’t hear from the father of lies anymore.
How will we learn in Heaven?
Ephesians 2:6-7
And God raised us up with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms in Christ Jesus, 7 in order that in the coming ages he might show the incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in his kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
God will progressively reveal knowledge.
Not knowing everything, isn’t a flaw, it’s being finite.
Are there books in heaven?
Psalms 119:89
Your word, Lord, is eternal; it stands firm in the heavens.
Matthew 24:25
Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away.
John 1:1
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
Revelation 20:12, 3:5, 13:8
There must be extensive learning.
