Coming Chaos

Daniel 9:25-27; 2 Thessalonians 2:1-10
Good To Go (Series On End Times)

Matthew 24:21
For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now and never to be equaled again.

Daniel 9:25-27
“Know and understand this: From the time the word goes out to restore and rebuild Jerusalem until the Anointed One, the ruler, comes, there will be seven ‘sevens,’ and sixty-two ‘sevens.’ It will be rebuilt with streets and a trench, but in times of trouble. 26 After the sixty-two ‘sevens,’ the Anointed One will be put to death and will have nothing. The people of the ruler who will come will destroy the city and the sanctuary. The end will come like a flood: War will continue until the end, and desolations have been decreed. 27 He will confirm a covenant with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him

What happens during the Tribulation? (2 Thess. 2:1-10)

The Tribulation will purify the Nation Israel. (Ezekiel 20:38, Deuteronomy 4:30-31, Romans 11:26-27)

God wants Israel to believe in Him as their Messiah.

The Tribulation will punish sinners. When we see evil, we ask, when are you going to act against evil God?

Love stands against evil, because evil is the enemy of love. (Romans 1:18, Nahum 1:2-3)

Scripture makes it clear that believers will be spared the suffering of the tribulation.

1-Our protection is established by Christ’s promise. God will remove us.

Revelation 3:10
Since you have kept my command to endure patiently, I will also keep you from the hour of trial that is going to come on the whole world to test the inhabitants of the earth.

2-Our protection agrees with Biblical examples. God saves His people from judgement. (2 Peter 2:4-9)

3-Our protection is clear in the book of Revelation.

Revelation 1:19
Write, therefore, what you have seen, what is now and what will take place later.

Why is the Church not mentioned once in Chapters 4-19? The church isn’t there! God’s wrath is for those who do not follow Him.

Romans 8:1
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus,

Christ’s death on the cross saved us from condemnation and judgment.

Romans 5:9
Since we have now been justified by his blood, how much more shall we be saved from God’s wrath through him!

Jesus paid the price in full for our sin.
