Looking For The Signs

Looking For The Signs

When I was twelve years old, I was lost and alone on the side of a mountain for three days and two nights. All that time I was looking and preparing for ways to go home. I was injured from a fall so I couldn’t get out on my own. I had to wait to be rescued.

We’ve been looking forward to the second coming of Christ for a long, long time. God has given us signs, which are events that will occur to let us know when Christ second coming is near.

Matthew 24:6-7
You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. 7 Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. There will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

We are living in challenging times. Many are looking around and wondering if we are truly close to Jesus taking us home. I find myself feeling like I’m running out of time, and I want to be prepared for whatever is coming.

God is unchanging and has always had a plan for humanity. There is no plan B! Over 25% of scripture is prophetic from when it was written. The Lord has given us everything He wants us to know about our relationship with Him. The word is God inspired and He has a purpose for this current age, and He has given us all we need to know in the scriptures.

Matthew 24:12-14
Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, 13 but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved. 14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

With all that is happening in our world today we can feel confused and discouraged, but scripture brings clarity and calm in the midst of the storm. So, let’s look at what scripture says about End Times, and how we can have hope in what God has prepare for His beloved. If we look for the signs of how to get home, we will see the Lords path that will lead us there.
