Proverbs 21:2-4
Treasures From Proverbs (Series)

Proverbs 21:2-4
2 A person may think their own ways are right, but the Lord weighs the heart. 3 To do what is right and just is more acceptable to the Lord than sacrifice. 4 Haughty eyes and a proud heart— the unplowed field of the wicked—produce sin.

God’s power of discernment unmasks those who fool others and even those who fool themselves.

Proverbs 15:25
The Lord tears down the house of the proud, but he sets the widow’s boundary stones in place.

Making yourself God’s enemy is a terrible decision.

Proverbs 15:33
Wisdom’s instruction is to fear the Lord, and humility comes before honor

Pride only brings dishonor but wisdom brings blessings.
